An advanced master gardener, Audrey Post is entering her sixth year of writing her Ms. Grow-It-All® gardening advice column
Gardening is one of America’s fastest-growing pastimes. It’s a great way to get some exercise, add beauty to your world or exert a little control over the source of your food. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a novice who’d like to give it a try, Ms. Grow-It-All® is someone you should know. Whether she’s sharing gardening tips or answering your questions, her common sense, slightly sassy style takes the guesswork and the guilt out of gardening.
“Gardening is supposed to be fun, not drudgery,” says Ms. Grow-It-All®, aka veteran journalist and master gardener Audrey Post. “Some people try to make it so rigid that they take the joy out of it, for themselves and for others. There are only a few ‘rules’ that must be followed. Everything else is adaptation, inspiration and experimentation.”
Join the conversation at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. The show used to broadcast on Saturday mornings but for most gardeners, particularly those who toil in the heat of the Deep South, 9 o'clock in the morning is the time to be out in the garden.
